Enjoying Time In The Open Air On A Fishing Charter Along With Dad Adds Up To A Very Enjoyable Father’s Day

Recently out of a medical facility, 10-year-old Pasadena resident, Joey Filetto, has an ailment identified as T-cell leukemia. He rarely gets to spend very much time now with his father because of his intense medical treatment procedures at Johns Hopkins Hospital and his dad's working a lot to cover the cost of the mounting medical related bills. Yet, tomorrow on Father's Day, he and his dad, Joe Filetto, will thoroughly enjoy an exciting afternoon on a charter Fishing Boat.

The day is a truly sincere gift provided by the Fishing Charter service, Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing, and the Casey Cares Foundation. The Casey Cares Foundation realizes that despite the fact that we simply cannot cure the heart-wrenching health conditions, everyone can certainly boost the parents in thoughtful and imaginative ways. The charity affords encouraging opportunities to critically-ill youngsters and their families all through Maryland and the mid-Atlantic states.

"It definitely is the right name for that organization due to the fact they incredibly care for the children," said Joe Filetto. He will love spending Father's Day fishing together with his son. This function is a component of "Family Festivities," one of six services of the organization. As one social worker expresses, "Your organization is comparable to this little treasure that gets put in their lives to help deliver opportunities for these children and their families to relax, laugh, rejoice, and be recognized as the awesome people they are."

Along with the Filettos will be 8-year-old leukemia patient, Mikey Thurin, his brother Chris and dad Jim; 12-year-old leukemia patient, Kevin Gill and his dad Kevin; 10-year-old Caroline Keller being treated for non-Hodgkins lymphoma and her dad Jeffrey; and 12-year-old Alexandra Hancock who is fighting a malignant brain tumor, and her siblings Emily, Lindsay and Suzanne and dad Jeff.

All the dads and their youngsters will depart from the charter boat's pier in Stevensville and spend quality time together on the fishing charter in the Chesapeake Bay until dark after enjoying box lunches provided by Heavenly Ham of Severna Park.

"I can't help ease their pain," Rich Shot, owner of Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing, said in a press release. "But I can give back in a way to create a memory that will last a lifetime."
